Anglers want to thank benefactors with a heart
Our nonprofit organization, Purple Heart Anglers, Inc., was originally created as a program for veterans with disabilities to make it possible for them to leave the VA hospital or retirement facility for a day of food, fun and fishing at no cost to them. While we have accomplished our goal, taking almost 300 disabled veterans fishing in 2009, the program has grown beyond our expectations.
