Capt. Eual "Yogi" Adams

Published/Last Modified on Wednesday, Jul 14, 2010 - 11:53:11 am PDT

Capt. Eual “Yogi” Adams passed away in his home on July, 9, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis Adams and devoted father to Tracey Jordanov and Heather Holliday and the loving father-in-law to Tod Jordanov and Daren Holliday.

Born on Oct. 4, 1950, in Oklahoma, he moved with his family to California and started his own family in South San Francisco. Although he lived in South San Francisco for the majority of his life, Half Moon Bay was his second home at heart. He had a love for the sea that cannot easily be explained with words. He simply lived for it — it was part of his DNA. It took not even a sound out of his mouth, and if you knew him, those sounds were always filled with deep memorable laughs, but just seeing a sparkle in his eyes and you knew that being part of the Coastside family was special to him.

Friends are invited to Pillar Point Harbor located at 1 Johnson Pier in Half Moon Bay on Saturday, July 17. A Scattering at Sea will commence at 4:30 p.m. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the American Legion located at 470 Capistrano Road in Half Moon Bay.
