Longtime Montara resident Eris Mullins died on May 30 at Peninsula Hospital surrounded by family and friends.

Eris was born in Orange County, Calif., in 1923. She married Robert Mullins in 1947. She enjoyed gardening and homemaking and was one of the founders of the “Half Moon Bay High School Cougar Boosters.”

Eris was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and son Gene. She is survived by three sons, Jerry, Randy and Bruce, daughters-in-law Nancy and Dixie, and grandchildren Jason, Erin, Katelyn, Rachael, Christina and James, and a great-grandchild, Avery.
