book sale
A book sale fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, at Seinor Coastsiders. Expect to see 50-cent paperbacks and $1 hardbound books.
Learn to protect yourself
The Red Cross offers free disaster training and a game of bingo to follow on March 23. Senior Coastsiders is helping to coordinate the most current information on disaster training from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at 535 Kelly Ave., Half Moon Bay.

A class called “Creative Collage,” with Mary E. Knieppel, is being offered on Thursday, March 25 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Advance payment of $5, which covers the cost of the class and materials, must be made at the Senior Coastsiders office at time of sign-up.
Spring is coming early
Join Senior Coastsiders on March 30 for a field excursion to the Conservatory of Flowers and have lunch at a nearby restaurant afterward. The bus departs the center at 10 a.m. and will return by 4 p.m.

Free tax assistance on Wednesdays for seniors is being offered through mid-April at Senior Coastsiders. Call 726-9056 to make an appointment.
Play bingo on March 6
Bingo Lunch at Coastsides Adult Day Health Center is offered on Saturday March 6, beginning at 11 a.m. For $15 you will get lunch, bingo pack of 10 games and the pleasure of the company of fun loving friends.
