Parents and students along with some teachers and administrators rallied at various points along Highway 1 on Thursday morning to protest continued budget cuts affecting local public schools. Building off a nationwide movement entitled "Stand Up For Schools," approximately thirty parents and students protested on Highway 1 at Coronado Street in El Granada with other gatherings occurring simultaneously in Half Moon Bay and Montara.
