JB Hutchins, a World War II veteran, passed away peacefully on Feb. 6, 2010, after fulfilling his last wish to see the age of 90.

He was born on Jan. 25, 1920, to Glover and Vida Hutchins in Valley View, Texas, but he built the house he called his home in El Granada, Calif. He was a Master Mason 3rd Degree and he enjoyed spending time fishing with his family.

JB is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret; his brother Jack; sons Jess, Mark and Tim; daughter Sheila; his nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren, the youngest of which was born on Saturday. He was a kindhearted friend to all and will be remembered for his caring spirit.

Services were held at Skylawn Memorial Cemetery on Feb. 12, at Highway 92 at Skyline Boulevard, San Mateo, CA, 94402.
