| Nominations open for eco-friendly awards Published/Last Modified on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 11:47 AM PST Sustainable San Mateo County is accepting nominations for its 11th annual sustainability and green building awards. Aimed at increasing awareness of community-serving and eco-friendly practices, the awards program shines a light on exceptionally green businesses, community groups, and residents. Coastside businesses Yerba Buena California Native Plant Nursery and Reece Computer Systems were two of five recipients of the honorary sustainability award last year.
